“Together we’ll keep up the fight”: Ontario NDP’s Strachan thanks Milton community

MILTON – Edie Strachan, NDP candidate for Milton, released the following statement to thank volunteers and community members who came together to raise Miltonians’ voice during this by-election:

"The past few weeks have been incredibly inspiring. I am beyond grateful to the people of Milton who have put their time and energy to fight for the biggest issues facing our community.

From fighting for a firm commitment on the Campbellville quarry and pushing for better healthcare for Milton, we have really made the community’s voice heard.

That incredible work is only the beginning. To everyone who knocked on doors, who signed petitions, who got involved with the campaign – thank you. Together, we’re going to keep up the good work and elect an Ontario NDP government in 2026.”
